THE STORY
My mom was a ribbon embroiderer, she is the inspiration for this piece. In homage to her, on both the snap closure and the back panel are some appliqued, pink embroidered ribbon flowers.
The neon fabric is from the aforementioned ‘Neverlast’ boxing shorts. The sparkle fabric that has been making the party rounds is from the DTLA Fashion District. The purple bridal satin is from my bomber jacket manufacturing days. As a finish there is a quilted, purple leather handle which provides a very nice grip.
