THE STORY
There it sat, a pile of fringe, in a container full of other various do-dads and accessories from projects past, waiting for its moment. You see, this fringe started life as part of a New York Fashion Week collection. The idea it was meant for ultimately was shelved but the fringe, ever vigilant, never gave up.
Then, a few years later came this bag. I finished it, but it seemed incomplete, too plain. Just then, the fringe sprung into view, poised. I snatched it up, started pinning it along the upper edge of the “finished” handbag. Finally the fringe had found a home. And they lived happily ever after…
