THE STORY
Looking at this bag immediately transports me to a distant mysterious, tree lined island.
And like that island, it holds secrets.
The shell fabric is from the remnant bin at Mood Fabrics. The pale green moire silk is leftover from a Vestment & Altar Cloth project I did for the Bel Air Presbyterian Church in the ‘90s. It’s then finished with the paradoxically both polished and roughed up quality of a vegetable leather that I found at Fabric Planet.
